Clients of Marksman can expect a professional, engaging, and rewarding long-term relationship. We want our clients to feel that, when they pick up the phone to call (or email or text), they will get a thoughtful, honest and timely response.

  • Understanding client needs — We strive to understand our clients so that we can do what’s right for them.
  • Investment reporting — Our custodian, Fidelity Clearing Canada, provides the official detailed monthly statement, including holdings, contributions, transactions and asset allocation.
  • Client meetings — We meet with clients on a formal basis at least once per year to review the investment policy, making sure it remains appropriate. We review any significant changes in finances and lifestyle that may have a bearing on how we invest. We also review the various asset classes, performance, fees, and answer any questions. Some clients want more frequent meetings, as well as regular calls. We are flexible.
  • Other Communications — Given my significant experience and background in financial services and financial planning, I also make myself available to my clients for advice across a spectrum of financial issues and concerns.
